A slow-burning powder for heavy magnum big game loads and large-capacity cartridges, including the Weatherby magnums.
A heavy magnum powder for large-capacity cases — the Weatherby magnums, .338 Winchester Magnum and the big overbore hunting rounds — where a slower powder buys velocity for a given pressure. It carries a de-coppering additive, which earns its keep when you are driving jacketed bullets that hard. The costs are the ones every overbore magnum load carries: a lot of powder, a lot of heat, real throat erosion over a barrel life, and no TZ stabilisation, so seasonal verification is not optional. In anything short of a genuinely large case it fills poorly and burns incompletely.

Grain shape
Long, heavy-web extruded sticks — the thick wall is what makes it this slow, and it takes a big case and a long barrel to give that wall time to burn through. Long grains bridge at a magnum case mouth and are awkward to meter accurately; a drop tube and a trickler are standard practice here.
