A temperature-stable standard and magnum rifle powder aimed at long-range target shooting across a wide range of conditions.
RL-22's speed with the temperature problem engineered out — the TZ chemistry holds velocity from a cold morning to a hot afternoon, which is the whole reason to choose it for long-range work. It shines in .300 Winchester Magnum, works well in .30-06, and handles heavy bullets in 6.5 Creedmoor. It carries a de-coppering additive, and Alliant states the formulation contains no DNT or DBP. If you are building a load that has to hold its dope across seasons, this is the right end of the Alliant catalogue to shop in.

Grain shape
Extruded stick with the web set a step above RL-22, made in Sweden on the same extrusion line as the rest of the family. Sticks give a steadier burning surface than flake but meter with more spread than a spherical, so trickle the last of a precision charge.
