Privacy policy

We're shooters selling to shooters, and we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated. The short version: we run our own analytics on our own server, we don't use third-party ad trackers, we never sell your information, and payment details never touch our systems.

What we collect

Browsing. When you visit the site, our own server logs the pages you view, the page that referred you, your IP address, your browser type, and an anonymous visitor ID stored in a first-party cookie. This is first-party analytics — the data goes to our database and nowhere else. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, and no advertising tracker on this site.

Orders. When you buy, we receive your name, email, shipping address, and what you ordered — the information needed to ship your gear and support you. Payment is processed entirely by Stripe; your card number never touches our servers. Stripe's handling of payment data is covered by Stripe's privacy policy. To print your shipping label we share your name and address with our shipping provider and the carrier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx) — the same way any shipper does.

Newsletter and waitlists. If you sign up for the newsletter or a product restock waitlist, we store your email address, which of our three lists you chose, and when you confirmed, and we use it for exactly that purpose. Sign-ups are confirmed by email first. Every email includes a link to change your lists and a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing works. If you tick the promotional-email box at checkout, that adds you to the same lists.

Reviews. If you submit a product review, we store and display the name you provide with your review. Verified-purchase reviews are linked to your order so we can show the “verified” badge honestly.

Emails we send

Beyond order confirmations and tracking, we may send you a review request after your order ships, a restock note if you joined a waitlist, and a single reminder with a link back to your cart if you started a checkout and entered your email but didn't finish. Reply “stop” to any of these and we won't send more.

What we do with it

We use browsing data to understand which products and guides people find useful, order data to fulfill and support your purchase, and email addresses to send what you signed up for. That's it. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with data brokers or advertisers — ever.

Your choices

Want your data removed? Email sales@rockcanyonmunitions.com and we'll delete your browsing records, subscriber entry, waitlist entries, reviews, or all of it. Order records are kept as required for accounting and warranty support. Questions about any of this — ask us directly; a person answers.
