Privacy policy

We're shooters selling to shooters, and we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated. The short version: we run our own analytics on our own server, we don't use third-party ad trackers, we never sell your information, and payment details never touch our systems.

What we collect

Browsing. When you visit the site, our own server logs the pages you view, the page that referred you, your IP address, your browser type, and an anonymous visitor ID stored in a first-party cookie. This is first-party analytics — the data goes to our database and nowhere else. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, and no advertising tracker on this site.

Orders. When you buy, we receive your name, email, shipping address, and what you ordered — the information needed to ship your gear and support you. Payment is processed entirely by Stripe; your card number never touches our servers. Stripe's handling of payment data is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.

Newsletter. If you sign up, we store your email address and use it to send the occasional update. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works.

What we do with it

We use browsing data to understand which products and guides people find useful, order data to fulfill and support your purchase, and email addresses to send what you signed up for. That's it. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with data brokers or advertisers — ever.

Your choices

Want your data removed? Email sales@rockcanyon.net and we'll delete your browsing records, subscriber entry, or both. Order records are kept as required for accounting and warranty support. Questions about any of this — ask us directly; a person answers.
