Alliant Power Pro 2000-MR
A spherical medium rifle powder for target shooters, with heavy-bullet .223 loads as a secondary use.
A spherical medium-speed rifle powder aimed at the .308 Winchester and heavy-bullet .223 window that extruded powders have historically owned. Its argument is metering and loading density: it drops accurately, fills the case sensibly, and gives consistent round-to-round velocity without hand-trickling every charge. It has never built the following Reloder 15 and the popular extruded medium powders have, and there is correspondingly less user experience to lean on. Treat it as a good progressive-press option in that burn range rather than a match-accuracy legend.

Grain shape
Spherical, so it meters without the bridging or grain-cutting an extruded stick causes and packs denser than a stick of the same speed. Degressive burn from a shrinking sphere surface, with the deterrent coating controlling how quickly the flame works inward.

Alliant cites increased speed and round-to-round consistency, plus density engineered for proper cartridge fit and efficient metering. Made in the USA.
