A fast shotshell powder aimed at 12 gauge target shooters moving down to lighter payloads. Alliant positions it as a lower-cost, lower-recoil option that still works with standard wads and cases.
The fastest thing Alliant lists, made for shooters who have decided to shoot lighter payloads with less recoil and still want complete combustion. It works with standard wads and hulls, which is the real selling point — you are not rebuilding a recipe around it. It is charge-efficient, meaning very little powder per shell, and that is the trap, because a correct hull and a doubled hull look identical. Outside light 12 gauge target work it has no role.

Grain shape
The thinnest-web flake in the line; there is almost no wall for the flame to cross, so it is finished producing gas very early. That is what makes it soft on the shoulder behind a light payload, and it is also why there is no forgiveness at all above a correct charge.
