A spherical light rifle powder for standard-caliber varmint loads, with light medium-rifle loads as a secondary use.
A spherical light rifle powder for the classic varmint trio — .22-250, .223 and .243 — where you load a lot of rounds and want them to come off the press identical. Metering is the whole selling point. The burn range it lives in is crowded with well-liked extruded powders and this one has not taken much ground from them, so user experience is thinner than its quality probably deserves. Nothing about it is difficult; it is a sensible progressive-press choice in that band rather than a powder with a personality.

Grain shape
Spherical grains flow and meter without bridging, and their density gives good case fill in a small varmint case. Surface falls as each ball burns, so gas production is front-loaded and there is little margin above a full charge.

Alliant cites improved density for proper cartridge fit and efficient metering. Made in the USA.
