IMR 7828 SSC
A magnum rifle propellant for large-capacity cases with heavy bullets. SSC stands for Super Short Cut: the kernels are cut short so the powder meters close to a spherical powder while retaining extruded burn characteristics.

Hodgdon states that IMR 7828 SSC has exactly the same burn rate as the older standard IMR 7828 and uses the same published data, but that the shorter kernels allow noticeably better case fill; entries where standard 7828 will not fit are marked in Hodgdon's data. Made in Canada. Not listed as temperature stable.

Verify the charge, not just the recipe
