The canister version of the propellant in Hornady's LEVERevolution ammunition, and it does what it advertises: meaningfully more performance in .30-30 Winchester, .35 Remington and the Marlin Express rounds with pointed flex-tip bullets. It meters flawlessly and Hodgdon says so plainly. The catch is that it is a specialist — the published cartridge and bullet list is short on purpose, and outside it you are extrapolating with a powder tuned to specific combinations. It carries no temperature-stability claim, which matters for a hunting load carried into cold weather.

Grain shape
Spherical and degressive: energy comes out early, which is what a short lever-gun barrel needs to make use of. The ball form meters exactly, and that matters more than usual here because the useful window is narrow.

Hodgdon describes it as highly specialized with a deliberately short list of cartridges and bullets — work only from the published data. Spherical, and Hodgdon says it meters flawlessly.
