Ramshot Big Game
A general hunting rifle powder centred on the 30-06 Springfield and the 22-250 class.
A .30-06-class hunting ball whose whole selling point is that it fits the case: good load density in .30-06 and .22-250 without a drop tube or a compressed charge. Clean, meters like the rest of the Ramshot line and cheap to shoot. Not temperature stable, which matters if you sight in during summer and hunt in the cold. It has also been showing out of stock on Hodgdon's own shop, so it is a catalogue item you may have to chase.

Grain shape
Spherical and degressive - surface falls as it burns, energy early - with the grain density tuned so a working charge fills the case rather than pooling at the bottom, which is the case-fill argument in mechanical terms. Drops through a measure without bridging.

Manufacturer emphasises clean burning, case fill and metering. Made in Belgium. Currently out of stock on Hodgdon's own shop but still a catalogued product.
