Accurate 2015
A small-to-medium varmint and benchrest powder that also serves large straight-wall rifle cartridges.
The old 2015BR under a shorter name - a single-base stick from the benchrest side of the line, sharp with light bullets in .223 and .204 Ruger and sold on ignition consistency. It has a second life in .45-70 and .458 Winchester Magnum, where a fast rifle powder makes sense in a large straight case. It will not meter like the ball powders in the same catalogue, so it belongs on a single-stage bench with a trickler rather than on a progressive.

Grain shape
Extruded stick with a thin web - the wall the flame has to burn through is what sets burn rate, and it is thin here, which is why this is one of the quicker rifle powders Accurate makes. Sticks bridge in a rotary measure and get sheared at the drop tube, so expect more charge scatter than the neighbouring ball powders.

Older Accurate literature and Hodgdon's burn-rate chart still label this powder 2015BR; the current product name is simply 2015. Manufacturer emphasises ignition consistency. Made in Canada.
