Aimed at high-performance semi-automatic handgun cartridges, and used as an economical option in larger magnum revolver rounds.
The high-pressure autopistol powder in the line: .357 SIG, 10mm Auto, major-power-factor .40 S&W, and an economical option in .41 Magnum. It fills those cases better than the fast target powders and keeps the pressure curve civil at full power. It is wasted on light .45 ACP loads - put No. 2 or Zip there and save this for the loads that need it.

Grain shape
Spherical with a thicker web than No. 5, which is what slows it down and lets it fill a bottlenecked pistol case. Degressive, so it still front-loads gas relative to a stick powder, and it meters as well as anything in the catalogue.
