Vihtavuori N130
A multipurpose powder for smaller rifle calibers with lighter bullets and for straight-wall cases. Vihtavuori aims it at small-game hunting and target shooting.
Sits between N120 and N133 and covers small-bore varmint and target work plus straight-wall big bores like .45-70 and .458 Winchester Magnum. It is the powder in this part of the ladder that carries Vihtavuori's anti-coppering technology, which is a real consideration if you shoot monolithic copper bullets. Otherwise it lives in N133's shadow: most people looking at this burn window buy N133 instead.

Grain shape
Shares grain dimensions with N133 and N135, so the deterrent coating rather than the web sets the three apart. Neutral-burning tube, small enough to meter well, which is the general virtue of the fast end of the N100 range.

Vihtavuori credits N130 with their anti-coppering technology. It shares grain dimensions with N133 and N135 and is differentiated by surface coating. Formerly known as N303.
