Accurate 2520
A service-rifle powder designed around the 308 Winchester, and used with heavy match bullets in the 223 Remington.
Accurate's Camp Perry powder: a service-rifle ball in the Reloder 15 and Varget speed band, sane on op-rod pressure and clean enough for a long string. It is what you reach for when you want match-rifle burn speed and refuse to give up ball-powder metering. In .223 it earns its keep behind heavy match bullets, not light varmint ones.

Grain shape
Spherical, so it drops without bridging in a measure that would shear an extruded powder of the same speed - that is the entire argument for it. Degressive burn: the surface falls away as the grain burns in, so it comes on hard early and does not forgive a heavy charge.

Marketed by Accurate as its 'Camp Perry' powder. Manufacturer states it is within the threshold limit for M14-pattern rifles and calls out its flow characteristics.

Just slower than Accurate 4064 and immediately faster than Alliant Reloder 15.
