Vihtavuori N150
A slow-burning powder for common mid-sized cases running heavier bullets. Vihtavuori calls it one of the best all-round choices for European hunting calibers, and it is used for both hunting and accuracy loads.
The middle rung, and the one to reach for when N140 has run out of room under a heavier bullet in .308, .30-06, .270 Winchester or 6.5x55. Vihtavuori pairs newer decoppering chemistry with an enhanced temperature-stability claim here and specifically calls out reduced coppering with monolithic copper bullets, which is worth knowing if you hunt with them. In Europe it is widely treated as the default all-round hunting powder for standard cases.

Grain shape
Nearly symmetrical single-perforated tube, neutral-burning. Thicker web than N140 and thinner than N160: that wall thickness is the burn-rate knob across the ladder, not a different chemistry.

Vihtavuori states N150 combines their newer decoppering technology with enhanced temperature stability, and specifically notes reduced barrel coppering with copper bullets. Nearly symmetrical tubular grains.
