Serves small-capacity rifle cases and doubles as a magnum revolver powder. Vihtavuori specifically recommends it for both subsonic and supersonic .300 Blackout loads.
Vihtavuori's fastest rifle powder and a genuinely dual-purpose one: .22 Hornet, .30 Carbine and both subsonic and supersonic .300 Blackout on the rifle side, magnum revolver work on the other. The .300 Blackout coverage is unusual, since most powders do one end of that cartridge well and the other badly. Vihtavuori is explicit that it lights best with small rifle primers, and ignoring that is where people find their inconsistency.
