Vihtavuori 24N41
Primarily a .50 BMG powder, with secondary use in very large capacity magnum cases for long-range precision loads.
The .50 BMG powder, and one of very few canister choices for that cartridge, with secondary use in .300 Norma, .300 Remington Ultra Magnum and heavy .338 Lapua. Like 20N29 it is a specialist: huge kernels, huge cases, and no crossover into anything normal. Vihtavuori's lot-to-lot consistency is worth real money in a cartridge where components are this expensive and load development this slow.

Grain shape
Very large extruded single-perforated tubes; the thick wall is the whole reason it burns this slowly. Volumetric metering is not meaningfully accurate with grains this size, so weigh charges and drop them through a long tube so a full case actually packs.

Single-base and surface treated, with very large extruded grains. Vihtavuori groups it with the N100 series rather than in a separate family. The large kernel size makes volumetric metering imprecise.
