A dedicated 12-gauge trap powder aimed at handicap and super-handicap loads, built to duplicate a well-known factory handicap shell. It lights reliably, meters excellently and burns clean, which is what consistent patterns actually depend on. There is nothing complicated about it and nothing to warn you off, provided you keep it in the lane it was built for. Despite sitting in fast-pistol territory on the burn-rate chart it is not a handgun powder — Hodgdon publishes no handgun data and chart proximity is not a substitute.

Grain shape
Flattened spherical grains — degressive, giving their gas early for a quick clean pressure curve, and the flattened ball form drops through a shotshell bushing with almost no charge scatter.
