Hodgdon Retumbo
A magnum extruded powder designed for very large, heavily overbored cases used in long-range hunting.
A powder for enormous overbore cases and nothing else — 7mm Remington Ultra Magnum, .300 Remington Ultra Magnum, .30-378 Weatherby. Extreme-series stability makes it a long-range hunting staple where the shot may come at any temperature. In anything smaller it is simply too slow: poor load density, incomplete burn, and a fireball for your trouble. Used where it belongs it is one of the best magnum powders available.

Grain shape
Long extruded kernels with a very thick web — that wall thickness is exactly why it needs a huge case to burn out completely. Long sticks bridge in a drop tube, so a long drop tube and a scale beat a measure here.

Extreme-series, so Hodgdon positions it for big-game hunting across temperature extremes. Intended for large-capacity cases only.
