A 12-gauge clay-target powder for competitive shooters, with secondary use in low-pressure, low-velocity Cowboy Action handgun loads.
A very fast, very low-density clay-target powder for 12-gauge trap and skeet, and its low bulk density is what makes the odd second job work - light, low-pressure Cowboy loads in .38 Special and .45 Colt, where a dense powder would sit in the bottom of a long case. Clean and soft over a long string. At this burn speed the margin above a target charge is narrow and a double is easy to make.

Grain shape
Modified - flattened - spherical: the ball is rolled flat, thinning the web and raising surface per unit mass, so it is faster and much lower in bulk density than the same material left round. Degressive, so the gas comes off immediately, which is exactly what a light shot charge wants.

Manufacturer describes the grain as a modified (flattened) spherical and the powder as low bulk density, which is what makes the Cowboy Action crossover work. Marketed on clean burning and low recoil. Hodgdon publishes separate bushing data for it. Currently out of stock on Hodgdon's own shop but still a catalogued product.
Burn rate
Very fast — among the quickest powders on the chart, sitting between Hodgdon Titewad and Alliant Red Dot.
