Manufacturer describes the grain as a modified (flattened) spherical and the powder as low bulk density, which is what makes the Cowboy Action crossover work. Marketed on clean burning and low recoil. Hodgdon publishes separate bushing data for it. Currently out of stock on Hodgdon's own shop but still a catalogued product.

Very fast — among the quickest powders on the chart, sitting between Hodgdon Titewad and Alliant Red Dot.

Verify the charge, not just the recipe
