IMR Target
A fast-burning handgun target powder. IMR described it as a fine-grained, small-flake pistol powder that meters well enough to give precise charges even in very small cases such as the 25 ACP.
Discontinued. A fine-grained fast pistol flake aimed at bullseye and general target work from .25 ACP up through .45 ACP, with IMR specifically pitching the small flake size as giving precise charges in tiny cases. Short catalogue life, so there is little accumulated user experience to draw on. Archived data only.

Grain shape
Fine flake, degressive: burning surface falls away as it burns, so it is energetic early and unforgiving near the top, which is normal for a fast bullseye powder. The small flake size is what lets it throw consistently in the very small charge volumes a .25 ACP needs.

Introduced by IMR in late 2016 as part of a five-powder family (Target, Red, Green, Unequal and Blue) marketed as REACH-compliant 'green technology' propellants. Discontinued. Hodgdon no longer lists this powder among current IMR products and it does not appear on Hodgdon's current relative burn rate chart.
This powder is obscure enough in the US that its practical character is thinly documented. The note above is deliberately short rather than padded.
