Discontinued, and one of the shorter-lived products in this directory, part of the REACH-compliant IMR shotshell family that came and went. Green was positioned a step slower than IMR Red, for handicap trap and sporting clays. Very little independent experience with it exists, so load it only from archived IMR shotshell data for the exact hull and wad.

Grain shape
Flake, and therefore degressive: burning surface falls away as the flake thins, so it gives its energy early and is unforgiving of an overcharge. Flake meters consistently by volume, which is why shotshell bushings work well with it.

Introduced by IMR in late 2016 as part of a five-powder family (Target, Red, Green, Unequal and Blue) marketed as REACH-compliant 'green technology' propellants. Discontinued. Hodgdon no longer lists this powder among current IMR products and it does not appear on Hodgdon's current relative burn rate chart.
This powder is obscure enough in the US that its practical character is thinly documented. The note above is deliberately short rather than padded.
